Atlanta is a creative and vibrant city with bookstores to match. There are plenty of shops to explore, and these are our favorites so far.
All the Tropes
All the Tropes is Atlanta’s romance bookstore. Located in the Kirkwood neighborhood, All the Tropes specializes in all kinds of romance books, including contemporary romance, historical fiction, fantasy/romantasy, LGBTQ+, dark romance, and more. There is also no shortage of adorable book-themed merchandise at the shop. All the Tropes also serves as a gathering place for the community by hosting book clubs, craft nights, author events, and more. It’s truly a gem and one of my personal favorite places in the city!
Brave + Kind Bookshop
Brave + Kind is a small but mighty shop located in Decatur. They have a wonderfully diverse selection of books for young readers, as well as some puzzles and toys. The staff members are also a big help when searching for something special for a young reader in your life!
Little Shop of Stories
Little Shop of Stories is located in Decatur, right next to Decatur Square. This adorable shop is primarily known as a children’s bookstore, but they do have titles for all ages. A particular highlight of the shop is the Goodnight Moon-themed playroom for littles (it’s so cute that I have to basically trick my children into leaving it). It’s definitely a must visit!
