The Atlanta Christkindl Market is a European-style Christmas market in the Atlanta area. This market has locations at Buckhead Village and at Galleria on the Park (near Truist Park). Here we’ll be focusing on the Buckhead location.
At the Christmas market, you’ll find vendors selling a variety of goods including food, drinks, toys, decorations, and festive souvenirs. The food was a bit hit and miss for us – we did enjoy the crepes from Lisa’s Creperie, giant soft pretzel, quesadillas from Dre Dilla Quesadillas, and the gluhwein!
The market also features events like visits with Santa and live music. Even your pet can get a photo with Santa!
The Atlanta Christkindl Market is free to enter and is open from November 22 – December 24 this year (2024). They’re open Monday to Thursday 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Friday to Sunday 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM. (With the exception of Monday, December 23 open 11:00 AM-8:00 PM and Tuesday, December 24 open 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.)
Just a tip – try to go during less-popular times! We went on a Friday at 11:00 AM and it was not busy (though when we were leaving around 12:30 PM, it was starting to fill up).
The market address and drop off area is at 290 East Paces Ferry Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30305. The designated parking lot is Buckhead Village South Garage, 200 Pharr Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30305. However, we found street parking when we visited.
Overall, the Atlanta Christkindl Market is a fun and festive activity for the holiday season! Just make sure to plan ahead and go when it isn’t crowded, if possible. Cheers!
