As 2023 draws to a close, it’s time to reflect on all the books read this year! This week I reached my reading goal of 50 books for the year. Here are my favorites, along with a list of all the books I read in 2023.

Evenfall Witches B&B series by Auralee Wallace
This cozy mystery follows the Warren family of witches, who run a bed and breakfast in their small New England town. There’s a delicate balance to be struck with a cozy mystery, and this series achieves it perfectly.
Happy Place by Emily Henry
Big surprise, right? Happy Place was basically everyone’s favorite romance this year, myself included. This tale of four friends meeting up for a summer reunion had me ready to pack my bags for Maine.
Holiday Romance by Catherine Walsh
This festive rom-com was a simply lovely end to the year. It’s a friends-to-lovers story about an Irish girl and guy living in Chicago who have a wild journey back home for Christmas.
Thicker Than Water by Megan Collins
This thriller tells the story of a family embroiled in a murder investigation. It has a great, twisty story and well developed characters, which makes those pages fly.
The World Deserves My Children by Natasha Leggero
Natasha Leggero’s book on motherhood had me rolling. This felt like having a chat with a friend and I couldn’t put it down.
